It never fails....

I'm always the last to post. Have a busy day and everything big happens...rofl

"Where you been Chaud??" "You been spending to much time on WoW" Nope...where I've been is with Dr. Earl and Baba...yes on the test :D

The good doc shared most of the info...I have to say I'm still not so impressed. If you want your toon to be maxed out it's gonna take a lot of money, a lot of salvage and a lot of inventing. For PVP toons these new "sets" won't be optional, at least not in my opinion.

Here's my pic from test...when GM_lighthouse made a personal appearance to try and help fix a bug at Wentworths...my son was on Calw veloce (DB toon). Oh and the cross server influence transfer...shhhh I did it, twice. :)

I went to my Test Server shortcut on my PC but when I got the to the first screen it didn't download anything...isn't there suppose to be a patch download? Is this on a different test server?

Thanks for the reply Chaudy. I tried it again and I got it now. I have no idea why it didn't auto-patch the first time.

I haven't been on yet but I'll find so time to frig around with it today. Coldie's going back to university!!!

Been over to test a few times. Tried to add your son's account but it doesn't seem to be "there." So if you are looking for me, try @azrhiaz or maybe it's @azrhiaz1.

So far, I've run two AV missions and done some street sweeping in PI. I got 4 recipes and about 8 pieces of salvage. I have three normal recipes (knockback, run, recharge) and 2 set ones (Perplex with recharge/confuse and Malaise's Something with 3 effects).

So far, I have not been very impressed with what I've found, or maybe I should say I'm a bit confused. I bought an item from Wentworth's to make the recharge enhancement. It increased the recharge on the power by 4.5%. I'm a bit put off by the crafting fee. I made the perplex enhancement and it cost me over 400k not to mention the extra salvage I had to buy to do it. It would seem that circumventing the auction house is the way to go, at least if you are trying to build something. Some of the prices are outrageous. I imagine once everyone begins to understand the system and more drops are in the game, this system will be a bit more enjoyable. However, trying to find recipes for a 53 invention enhancement for the sets seems very daunting. Most of my toons don't have a lot of money due to running in SG mode. So I suppose it will be worth it to sell off everything. Sad part is if I *do find a recipe for a 53 sniper set, I might have gotten rid of something I needed. Maybe we will have to make a page with SG Member's Wishlists so if we find Carnie Boots, we know who wants them in our immediate circle. :)

I had Sword add Chaud to the test brigade, since it went off toons added my sons account is actually @Keliah right now.

Sadly my computer took a dive. :( We are waiting on a new power source and hoping that's the problem...gonna take a week to get it. Until then I'm using the kids sloooow comp.

Agreed on the inventions Az, everything is to high on WW, devs claiming prices will drop when it goes live but I'm not sure...always people looking to make a buck. Some of the sets looked nice but I was never able to make one that actually was slottable in my toon. The drop rate was slower for me, but the drop rate of actually useable stuff...not much. Plus, for the extra costume things, always 50 people in line bidding on them and I never saw even one for sale...I never found one. :(

P.S. I would still like to run statesman tf before the end of the weekend...give me a day and time and I'll be there.
As for the Carnie boots, you all know who has first dibs. :)

Oih folks, you're killin' me.

Wentworths is meant to buy and sell items. Don't be so eager to get tricked out on items or sets so fast. Yes, I want my tech wings, but I refuse to pay through the nose for them. They are simply nice to have. I fully intend to sell the rarer salvage that I won't be using on any of my characters. For instance, in just 2 sales, I recieved 10million influence. I will continue to play my heroes the way I play them now, with the benefit of knowing that eventually I will get a drop I want and will worry about slotting it once I have gotten all the pieces.

This can be a great boon to the economy of the game, you just gotta be patient for the things you want. No one is saying "you've gotta have it now." By going in with that mentality you are only going to hose yourself over. I fully intend to keep playing this game the way I have been for quite some time to come, I know that eventually I will have my characters filled with IO's, but I am in absolutely no hurry to get there. By doing this, this content will not become "old" too fast, relax enjoy it, let it benefit YOU and I guarantee you will like it more.

Notice that I am actually stopping short of this. I don't want to actually get to that point, it cost me a lot of influence and trading of influence with multiple character copies. I don't want to be too ticked off with my live version to just look at him with disgust. Yup, I think now is a good time to give test a rest, it'll be on live soon enough, then I will have to start the process all over again at a much slower pace. :-D
