I am entirely suspect of the whole "crafting" thing. I don't know the answer, but is it fair for someone to get a huge edge through crafting over people that aren't clever enough to figure it out (like me), or have enough time to do it? That being said I am totally looking forward to this weekend. Bring on the task forces. I have already been fitted with an IV to feed me and keep me hydrated with caffinated liquids. What to do about bathroom breaks though....
Well, if someone spends the time to do it, then they just might deserve the edge. Or the Carnie boots. :)
You can always go to the auction house and maybe find out what you don't have the time/knowledge/salvage to craft yourself.
Now the bathroom breaks on the other hand. . .

As for crafting, I'm on the fence too, but I DO look forward to crafting some obejcts, like those fancy tech wings. If they had Jetpacks to craft I'd be really really happy. Doncha just love concept heroes that don't have a travel power?!?!?!
