It is possible that folks may take on e look and demand that I step away from the keyboard, so we'll see.
Truth be told, I'd just like to be able to show the group symbol and make everything else optional but that's just my two cents.

Well Meg, it certainly won't be mandatory. However, as we have grown into one of the more distinguished SGs on the server, I thought it would be a good idea to have one to further make our prescence known. Everyone recognizes a Fusion Force member, or someone from Sentai Force. With the uniform, it brings a sense of strength and unity to the SG and makes others recognize us and perhaps want to be part of us. A lot of people don't wear the logo cause it doesn't work with their custom uniform.
I think if we are grouped (say on a TF for example) it shows SG pride and strength. And at hami raids, it's nice to see Debt Brigade representing, not just blending in with the crowd.
It'll be up to everyone whether they choose to wear it. Many parts will be unique to you, so you can customize it a bit as well.
I would have to agree with Az and others. An SG outfit brings a sense of pride while you play those heroes, espcially on TF's. A thought though, is that if you want to wear them to a Hami raid I suggest you do a cape and non-cape version, not that it is required, but would be helpful for those of us that participate in that torture. :-D
I will have to admit that once my first hero hit 40, my RL friends and I in the Unpredictables had a nice LAN party with tons of good (bad) food and came up with an outfit for our SG. We really felt that our newly formed SG (which had been almost a 9 months old by that point) came into its own. there is nothing better than running a TF and bring in random heroes and having them compliment us on not only our outfits, but that we looked like quite a formidable force. Granted, there were only 4 of us in this SG, but it still gave a sense of pride that we came this far.
2 of them have moved on sadly, but every character I have in the SG proudly displays their allegiance to a wonderful, small, yet proud group.
I have to say that I agree with Az and the good Dr. Ebon and myself had our own unis in the Dark Justice Legion and it really adds something when there are several members together wearing them. I would say leave headgear, belts, and shoulder adornment to each individual. Maybe boots too, but I think we would have to see. Kudos to you Meg for getting the ball rolling on this. In conjunction with our name maybe something militaristic like one of the leathers maybe? I had a vision of a parade uniform....Baba maybe you could help with that??
Ooooo...speedo time!! Woot!! I don't mind giving up a costume slot for an awesome DB outfit. I'm at a loss of what to make though, maybe I'll have to have some fun in Icon sometime. :)
