Dum Da Dum Dum

Well I11 may have finished me off. My mother board sockets won't support any of the newer Graphics cards that manufacturers are bothering to update. Just listen to these other happy asus customers.

Wow, that sucks. The last time I had motherboard issues, I just ended up buying a new computer.

I'm really sorry to hear this Ebon. I hope you can get it worked out. The Rikti Plasma Cannon is certainly no substitute for YOU!

Ebon what are the specs for your system?

BTW, my wife's laptop which runs on an ATI xpress 200 chipset was officially dead to CoH with i10.

My system:
Windows XP
3 GHz P4
1GB ram
asus motherboard
asus x1650 Graphics card
DSL cable ethernet

I haven't given up yet. I got a quote for a new tower last time I had problems and my computer guy might be willing to refund the Graphics card cuz he thinks what happened sucks to. I have also managed to get an advance on some Xmas and birthday money so I might be rockin soon.

BTW Ride the Lightning is my favorite Metalica album

If you are on AGP slots, your motherboard is passing you by. You will need PCIe which will lead to new motherboard, and most likely a rebuild.

Funny when Metoid and I decided to give this City of Heroes game trial a shot, it lead to a new computer upgrade, then another new comp soon after. I fear the day comes when I have to do it again, I can't afford it any more :-).
