Bring it on! I might try my troller instead of Ebon if we have enough tanks. Wow just thinking of not taking him on a raid feels... wrong :S
Sorry to say that I will be in Las Vegas that day. Kick some ass for me! I hate missing base raids. They are way too much fun. Bring on the RoA. We had a good time slapping them around last time.

Well.... having recently brought Riders of Apocalypse on as a coalition, a few of us thought we'd give their base a tour last night. Did I fail to mention that ROA is the number one group in prestige earned?
Their FUSION generator is surrounded by TWO defensive rooms filled with 20 defenses capability. They have filled it with slowfields and elite energy cannons. This is like our hall of death x3.
They also have a similar set up protecting their 3 Items of Powers.
Quick everyone roll a stone and a kin backup. The raid with ROA is gonna HURT. BAD.
How does one get an item of power right now? I will assume they got it a long time ago, but wasn't the mission bugged? And if they do have an item of power (or 3!!!) are they getting the benefit of it? If that is also the case... where/how do we get one?? They are number one? Wow.
Wow! Number 1? I toured the base and was impressed but not that impressed. I saw some design weaknesses that could be worked around. Plus we also don't how well they work together as a team. Remember, it's not about victories/defeats especially when your up against all those guns AND their SG members.
Are RoA who we are raiding this weekend? If so I don't think we are prepared. We will need some pretty specific builds to get anywhere. Of course it is just for the fun of it and will be an excellent test to go against the No. 1 ranked prestige SG.
By the way Az. Your a much more creative base designer in my opinion.
When the Cathedral of Pain trial was up for those 3 days, ROA managed to bring home 7. The devs were to have taken all the IOPs back after a month, but their sweep missed some IOPs and they have been there ever since. And yes, still giving their bonuses out.
No, we will be raiding the villains again this weekend. So it should be a nice walk in the park again. :grin:
I'm not really sure what would be a good strategy to use against the ROAers. I know most toons won't last more than a few seconds under all that artillery. We have 6 guns pointed in our chokepoint and that does a pretty good job. They have 10 guns plus slowfields. I can only think that someone with TP and phase shift would stand a chance thru it. And the fusion generator is HUGE. It will take a WHILE to destroy.
