Cast and crew of a very well done Eden Trial. Please note that no fleas were picked up on anyone's fur during the making of this Trial (Although Woodsman WAS itching alot).
This bad guy is big. Like NBA center big is small compared to him. This was the best shot I had taken without chopping his head off. Well we did that after we beat him, but I digress.Well another Trial has come and gone, this time the old Devouring Earth got smacked around. We went into a dark hole in the ground, then it was light, then we went in another dark hole, and then it was light...whoa this Trial is turning out to be "X" rated.
In the end...ok not a good segue after that last joke, hmm umm, ok when we were all done, we had fun and had a few spare ambrosia inspirations to boot. If you have never done the Eden Trial before, go to our SG base, teleport to Eden and you will be at the contact for this puppy. It is fun and one of the more unique Trials/TF/SFs in the game. And grab a spare ambrosia or two in the storage BEFORE you go (doh!).

I did this one with Ebon and it went like butter. I don't even think I used 2 ambrosia before we cut him down. I still have 2 ambrosia left from it :).
Yea, with a balanced team he drops like a fixed boxer in the third round.
What do these ambrosia things do??? Any word on the aforementioned raid? If there are any UFC fans that read this blog, I am off from Vancouver to Montreal to take in the fight in a box!! It is for work so boo on that, but I am STOKED!! Az, what IOs are good for blasters?? Well, not all blasters but my ice/em guy specifically? Coldie what IOs do you use?

I'm a huge MMA fan so suffice it to say I'm jealous that you're going to be at ground zero for one of the biggest fights of the year. Expect a riot if GSP loses or wins :P
Me and IO's?!?! Much like me leveling my alts, I'm waaayyy behind on those things. I need to get out of SG mode (Az is letting us now! ;) and sell off my backlog of useless recipes and salvage before I can even approach those things.
Having said that, my ears will also be open to whatever advice Az gives you. Maybe I should hit her up for a couple of bucks to :P
For blasters, typically you want to build for recharge, recharge, recharge. Then typically hitpoints. Have you downloaded Mid's Hero Builder yet?
If you use that, you can see exactly which set does what and the effect they have on your build.

Actually she will add her 200 cents. Az was instrumental in helping out with Ebon's current build and we all know how much he kicks ass XD.
FYI. I would look at all the recipes for the types of powers you have. You may find some interesting bonuses that could improve you in ways you didn't realize. Accuracy and recovery are good ones as well. So try to find recipe sets that give multiple desired bonuses (ie recharge, hitpoints, Acc, recovery).For a more specific example Positrons blast is a staple for any targeted AoE power which gives a recovery an acc and a recharge bonus if I'm not mistaken. Ask Az if there are any procs for blasters as I only know of good tank procs.
I am a fan of decimation and devastation sets, never used a Positron Blast but it does have nice bonuses. Really, IOs require research for what your goals or improvement is. For example with careful slotting, I can have my zilch defense vs. Sleep mitigated by 10% with slotting on my bubbler. Every little bit helps. Heh. Just ask a perma dom.
