Good news! We have 2 base raids coming up! The first one will be with our villain friends this Sunday at 3pm pacific! Bad news! They just earned the fusion generator which is nigh impossible to destroy. My buddy Panther Pink Ink Man (stalker) will be joining them so you better not stand in one place too long! Great guy but damn he's a good killer! lol
The second raid will be with our old pals, Riders of Apocalypse! The good news! They have an IoP so we can earn a rare badge if we "steal" it! We also will have reinforcements if we need them cause many people will join us for the fray just to get said badge. The bad news! Well, most of you have already been in their base so you kinda know what the bad news is. Being the #2 SG on Triumph has bought them quite a bit of artillery. They also have a fusion generator so yeah, not gonna be an easy one. Debt, damage taken badges up for the taking!! This raid will be on Feb. 10th at 3pm pacific. I'm hoping by the time this raid rolls around, we'll have the fusion gen as well! At this point, I wouldn't mind farming for it a bit! Sheesh.

Sounds great! We need to redeem ourselves! I had a thought though. The generators provide power and we always go for that. What about going after control? If someone is available during the day, I can grab any number of my super squishy toons and get killed a lot in a PvP zone. Mal has a lot of room for wakes and a blaster could do him in real fast. I could even get some work done at the same time... :)Everyone should make sure they get the phase shift power before we go in. It makes it real easy to get past loads of guns...
You can't target a super computer/axis of control, only the attachments. For Riders, they probably have at least 7 of those.
Might be a good distraction...? Though if we are going to do that, we almost may as well go after the anchors while other people sneak around trying to drop pylons or hit the IoP. If you are going to drop pylons, make sure you are our of Line of Sight of the guns.
Yeah definitely get it from Warburg or craft ethereal shift.
An organized farm would be quicker. If we have a team of 4 versus you, for every kill, everyone on the team gets a credit. So one kill would essentially equal 4.
Good News! My stoner/nrg tank, Mercy Mercy, hit lvl 35, so I have negative energy transer at least. I respec'd hasten into his rotation, plus added some more IO regen bonuses (via taunt recipes mu hahaha). So he will be a little tougher and have some better taunt--I hope.
Bad News! from the Mister Kanoosh homefront...I have a business trip from 3 - 24 Feb. SOOOooo I am out of pocket for ALL the fun. No Raids. No Double XP for Planty Man to get to lvl 45 (and the LRSF/LGSFs) and just plain NO Fun. BOOOOOO! But Mrs Kanoosh and Metoid will be here. I ought to let him bone up on tanking with Mercy Mercy a bit.
I plan on being at the raid on Sunday though and --WITHOUT A DOUBT-- Panther pink is one of the BEST stalkers out there. He will be a challenge. Plus he is a nice guy. One day he killed Planty Man when I was getting codes in Warburg. After he smoked me, he kindly gave me back my codes. What a pal. :-P
Well, Tactical Ranger killed Mal yesterday around 50 times or so. I thing we moved the bar for the badge about 3 millimeters. :) Sorry to hear you won't be there for the other raids Baba! I also found out I will be out of town for Double XP Weekend. Not happy at all. I am thinking of starting a PvP toon and I was thinking a Rad/Fire Troller or a bubbler. Any thoughts from the rest of the SG? Az, I wanted to ask you what you thought of an AR/Dev blaster in PvP? I knew you had one and just wanted to see how it has gone for you. I thought ignite would be a good power for taking down equipment and you just can't go wrong with caltrops....
We are actually a lot closer to the fusion gen after Ebon's and Garl's foray in WB. So maybe we might get it after all? :crosses fingers:
Garl, AR is probably the worst set out there for a blaster in PvP. Sorry. :( Fire and ice are the two ruling primary set and energy is essentially the only secondary. It depends on what you want to focus on however. As you know in base raids, builds are much looser. So you'd have to tell me that. I'd also have to know what role you'd rather play? Damage or support? Fire/rad trollers are always strong however.
I'm sorry to hear Baba won't be here for the Rider's raid. I think we'll have a full team however, since I know a bunch of people who want in on it for the badge. So we'll make do. It'll be less fun without you here though. :)

Ebon is fully respec'd and IO'd for pvp (well as much as any tank can be). Az was kind enough to take a couple rounds out of me in the arena on test :) (of course she cheated) and I am impressed with the rech speed of my powers and the presence pool. Although she beat me with 3 different toons it was very satisfying to see her trembling before my Intimidate and Invoke Panick :D. Az as always was really great about it and she spent a lot of time helping me transfer ridiculous amounts on IO recipes and salvage to get respec'd (don't worry Az I made Garl help me on the live server XD). Anywho Thanks a mil Az!
As for the raid. Is it possible to get a roll call of people who will be there and what AT/power sets you will be bringing to the table in order to help formulate any kind of strategy?
With a fusion gen in play for the bad guys distraction will be my main goal maybe.Even going for the gen would be a diversion if they haven't been raided yet with it.

Well, until I get my newlt made Fire/Rad troller, Disaster Master, up a level or 30 I will be bringing either Mal 44 ill/emp troller, or Garl my 50 dark/regen scrapper. I know, Az. I made ANOTHER alt. I really think going after the control to drop their rezzers may be a good idea. Even if there are 7 of them or so. Please everyone get the phase shift ability. Mal has TP friend so with phase shift I can get him into places and bring friends with me.Especially past all those nasty guns....
Who is coming for Warburg? Will be a factor as to which toon I bring. Would like Bull's Eye Beetle if we have a bubbler he can hide safely in. Can bring a BS scrapper. A stone tank. A PB. A Grav empath. Let me know which role you want filled for WB and I am there.
IMO Ice/NRG NBlasters are SICK in pvp. The Ice/NRG offers both aim AND build up...lethal combo early. AND has sick debuffs in ice.AND the most lethal melee form in PvP in NRG. Just sick build. Metoid built one and was SPANKING toons in BB/Sirens. Be warned...END HAWG.
I might be car shopping tomorrow so I won't be able to make it to WB till thats done. I'll log on when I can and see if anyone is still around.
